'Tauern autobahn' A10 (Motorway, running North-South, to west of area): Exit Golling or St. Martin - direction Gosau B166

Coming from the direction of Graz: A9 (Motorway) via Liezen - Bad Aussee - Bad Goisern - Gosau

Train and Bus

From Salzburg there is a train to Golling, then take the connecting bus to Gosau. There is also a train station at Steeg, near Bad Goisern, which connects to Obertraun and Bad Aussee, and beyond.

Buses run frequently, and on time, between all our local towns and villages: Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Obertraun to the east, and Golling, Abtenau and Salzburg to the west. - See Trains Info
